North Dakota State University is currently seeking applicants for the position of Director of Athletic Performance. Medifit- Health & Fitness Specialist

Our client is located in Irving, Texas. The Fitness Center is housed within a 12,000 square foot facility consisting of cardiovascular, strength training areas, (2) separate group exercises rooms and a new mother's (lactation) room. The program is available to 2,500 employees with approximately 800+ members. The facility is staff by five (5) full-time professionals (1) PM and (4) HFS.
Position Qualifications PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Instruct group exercise classes.
• Supervise and monitor exercising participants; provide personal training.
• Perform fitness assessments, determine exercise prescriptions and conduct first workouts for diverse populations, including, high risk members.
• Design, implement and evaluate incentive and health promotion programs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate specialty programs.
• Perform administrative tasks associated with facility operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS/BA in Exercise Science, Health Ed. or related field.
• ACSM HFI certification recommended.
• Group exercise instruction experience; Aerobic Certification preferred.
• Current CPR & first aid certifications required.
• Strong internship in a related job setting
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.

Fitness Center Site Supervisor
L&T Health and Fitness, Washington, District of Columbia

The Site Supervisor will oversee the operations of an extension fitness center and work closely with the program manager.

Responsibilities
*Daily operations of the fitness center
*Member recruitment and retention programs
*Lead a variety of group exercise classes
*Oversee one staff person

Requirements
BS/BA degree in health fitness or minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience
National certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, AFAA, or NSCA)
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Good organizational and communication skills
